Shades of Sisterhood is an organization founded in 2015 and headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Our mission is to provide resources and support to single mothers and their families and to help end homelessness in our community. We are passionate about our cause and have worked with other organizations to help serve the homeless population.

We offer a variety of services, from providing food and clothing to job training and counseling. We also host events and workshops to spread awareness about our mission and to celebrate the success of our amazing members.

Introducing Laura Tate - an exemplary wife, devoted mother, and a woman of faith passionately pursuing God's heart. Her journey reflects a deep sense of purpose, a commitment that proudly guides her every step.

In 2014, during the Church of Christ State Lectureship in Greensboro, Laura experienced a profound epiphany. A statement echoed in the hall, "If your endeavors do not align with God or glorify Him, then they are in vain." This simple yet powerful message touched Laura's heart and led her to a momentous decision.

She chose to bid farewell to her previous company, "Strictly Bizness," and embarked on a path that surpassed self-interest. She felt a compelling urge to step outside her comfort zone and devote her energy to motivating, empowering, and uplifting women navigating challenging times.

Laura identified an alarming trend - the erosion of true sisterly love amid prevailing hostility among women. In response, she founded 'The National Association of Virtuous Women Inc.', which is now officially renamed as 'Shades of Sisterhood Inc.' Her mission was clear – to promote genuine sisterhood, faith, and a vision that paves the way to extraordinary results.

Laura's fervor to help women discover their purpose and thrive in all life spheres has brought about transformative and gratifying changes. Her ministry focuses on fortifying communities by nurturing spiritual, personal, and professional development, fostering entrepreneurship, and facilitating access to sustainable resources.

Laura strongly believes in collective strength. Together, she says, we can formulate strategies for success, incorporate harmony in our daily lives, and build a strong network of faith.

She envisions a world where every woman who is ready to claim her abundant life, who believes in the process, and who aspires to make a difference, will find a fulfilling life as per God's definition of success. Her vision and dedication are not just inspiring but serve as a beacon for women worldwide, encouraging them to step into their power and realize their potential.
